Good Old Dog Project – celebrating the spirit of dogs in their golden years.
Besides humans I also love photographing dogs. And old dogs hold a special place in my hart. They have such charm and a grace resulting from a life well lived as a companion, friend and playmate. Over the years, the stories of the dogs and their keepers have entwined and I believe this bond deserves to be honored by documenting this connection in a beautiful portrait.
We all know how much Oprah loves her dogs and I was lucky my work was recognized in the September 2013 issue of O Magazine.
In a joyful and playful session, I capture the senior dog’s special beauty and the lifetime of friendship you have shared. Based on the stories of my customers, the session is bound to be a memorable experience that will become part of your story together. Shortly after the photo session, we will meet again to review the best images. At that time you choose your favorite portraits so I can create an expressive piece of wall art that preserves a slice of your love and life for all time.
Who can participate?
The good old dog project is dedicated to dogs that have reached or are beyond their breed’s average life span or are faced with a terminal illness.
4th annual good old dog exhibit
This will be the 4th year of the project and in the autumn I invite all my clients to the good old dog exhibit to celebrate all the dogs that have brought joy to our lives.
