8 year old Pinky has had a rough time lately but showed she still has a lot of spunk during the photo session. Her favorite thing to do is sun bath on the patio.

News flash!….. The good old dog project has made the news.
Today my project is featured in the Oregonian Living section as well as a video on-line www.oregonlive.com/pets.
It is so exciting to share my passion for this work. I continue to marvel at what transpires each time I focus my lens capturing these incredibly beautiful animals. I have been blessed with talent, your friendship and support and the ‘need’ to chronicle old dogs.

Cubby was adopted only 4 years ago when his guardian needed a companion and a service dog. While Cubby had no experience in that field, he knew instinctively what was needed of him. Now, an elderly dog with medical issues himself, he needs special attention which is offered in spades.

Miss Arete is an elderly lady who has had a tough life in Georgia. Abandoned, thankfully, she is now back in good hands and resides in Oregon. This girl deserves nothing but the best. What a gentle soul, she is.
